    Two choices are available to schools for student accreditation;

1. accreditation through EQUALS for Moving On units only; accreditation awarded by EQUALS is assessed against clear standards that relate to national norms such as the P Scales and there is no minimum or maximum number of units for which the student may be entered in any one year.

   accreditation through the AQA for both KS4 and Moving On; schools wishing to accredit students for KS4 and Moving On through the AQA will need to apply to become an AQA unit award scheme registered centre (if not already a registered centre) and should contact the AQA office on 01423 840015, or e-mail unitawardscheme@aqa.org.uk. CD ROM’S containing the assessment sheets for all of the units can be purchased from EQUALS.
